Martin approached us directly after we had failed to sell our flat through another local agent and we took it off the market. He was very keen to visit to explain how EweMove works. Martin worked with our busy work schedule and came to visit us at a time which best suited us. We were very impressed by Martin and the offer and we signed the next day for him to list our property.
Martin acted with efficiency and professionalism in getting the property on the market and the photos really did it justice online. He really sold the area in his description and made sure to speak with us to understand why we loved the property so much too. We were only moving due to our family increasing in size. Within days we had multiple viewings arranged. Martin fought hard with the potential buyers and secured a price for the property that we were extremely pleased with.
The biggest compliment that we can pay to Martin is the way that he stayed in touch with us throughout the whole process. Every question was answered in a timely manner and all correspondence passed on immediately. Martin also gained rave reviews from our solicitor for the professionalism shown throughout the process and speed in which he acted. Even after we have moved Martin stayed in touch and has forwarded on mail etc for us. He really did and still continues to go above and beyond. If we could use him again in the future we would do without hesitation.

After contacting the usual high street Estate Agents in the Barnes/Sheen area, we decided to go with Martin at Ewemove’s Putney branch. I’m extremely happy that we did. Martin’s approach is very collaborative – he gave a very honest and thorough assessment of the potential sale price in a tricky market where there is very little moving – and his rates are very competitive. The other agents were extremely pushy with unrealistic promises and high commission. When asked what gives them an edge they say that, due to their office network, they regularly convince people to move to Sheen who are looking in other areas. I didn’t buy it. Every property is now on Rightmove and all the other sites – so I just don’t see where the value in High Street Estate Agents is now.
Martin’s approach to the sales materials and listings was particularly impressive. Great photography, 3D layouts, considered descriptions and enhanced listings gave us a good number of viewings in the first two weeks – resulting in best and final offers virtually at asking price. Martin involves himself wholly in the sale so you benefit from a senior and experienced agent throughout the process. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Martin.
We spent about nine months looking for a house on the coast in W. Sussex having lived in Putney for 40 years. We were hesitant to put our house on the market during this protracted process in case we found a buyer and we had nowhere to move to. We eventually found the perfect house but were advised by the seller’s estate agent to have a buyer for our house before making an offer. At this point we contacted Martin in the Putney office. Unfortunately this coincided with the collapse of the high end London housing market and we became doubtful that we would find a buyer quickly enough to avoid losing the house we had found.
Martin took a lot of nice photos of the house and wrote a very nice description, all of which went on the main house search portals. He found a buyer within about three weeks of the portal postings. Our buyer was in a chain that proved very difficult with the buyer at the bottom of the chain finding all sorts of (plausible) reasons to defer exchange of contracts. Martin handled all of the communications with estate agents and solicitors, particularly reassuring our seller’s estate agent throughout a very painful process. The chain eventually collapsed leaving us with the almost certain loss of the house we had set our hearts on. Martin’s communications with our seller’s agents had reassured them about our plausibility as buyers and the seller gave us a one month grace period to find another buyer, which Martin duly did within two weeks. This buyer seemed to think that they could move in immediately after making an offer! The speed of light process that ensued involved frequent communication between agents, solicitors and a frenetic buyer, especially over setting mutually acceptable exchange and completion dates. Fortunately Martin was available at all times to get involved when needed.
Anyway, it all had a happy ending and we are settled in our new home. Martin was invaluable in the whole process and I took everything in his stride in a professional manner. I hope the next challenge he faces is a little less testing.
