Shrewsbury Estate Agents

We are Beverley and Greg Sloane, husband and wife and branch owners of EweMove Shrewsbury.

We launched EweMove in Shrewsbury in 2015 and in that time our business has gone from strength to strength. Matt Bowyer joined our team in 2018 and brought with him a wealth of knowledge and a steadfast passion for going above and beyond when it comes to customer care.

It sounds cheesy but we genuinely love what we do - helping people with what is often one of the biggest decisions they will make in their lifetime is an absolute honour that we never take for granted.

Our goal is not to be the biggest estate agent. Instead, it is to be the best estate agent. We strive to achieve the best results for our clients, but we also want to make sure that they have the best possible experience from start to finish.

And we are proud to say that this determination to deliver an outstanding service has led to Ewemove being recognised many times along the way with quite a few industry awards. Most recently, we won gold at the British Property Awards as the Best Local Estate Agent in Shrewsbury in 2022! Hoorah! A huge THANK YOU for all the support! We love ewe Shrewsbury!

About Shrewsbury

If you don’t know Shrewsbury, then let us paint a picture for you!

Our fascinating medieval town is blessed with an eclectic mixture of Tudor, Georgian, Norman, Victorian and even Art Deco properties, along with delightful little alleys that are intriguingly named like 'Grope Lane', lined either side by black and white timber-framed buildings. There are incredible historic buildings such as Shrewsbury Castle or the ancient sandstone church with breathtaking stained glass, the Church of St Mary the Virgin.

And of course, there’s Shrewsbury School founded by Edward VI in 1552 by Royal Charter. The school was named independent school of the year in 2020 and is fiercely proud of its most famous pupil, the naturalist Charles Darwin. In fact, you'll find references to Charles Darwin all over Shrewsbury!

But life's not just about learning of course. Shrewsbury enjoys a vibrant and diverse leisure scene with acclaimed restaurants, cosy pubs and live music venues rubbing shoulders with the highly modern Theatre Severn. We think one of the best places to eat in Shrewsbury is CSONS. Here you will find globally inspired food using some of Shropshire’s best local ingredients - we love it!

We could not imagine raising our children anywhere else but Shrewsbury! If you are looking for things to do in Shrewsbury with children, then you won’t be disappointed. As well as the usual array of children's activities, such as soft play, pottery painting, climbing, trampolining, escape rooms etc, Shrewsbury has a great deal more to offer. Much of the town's recreational activities are centred around the River Severn and The Quarry a 29-acre park nestled into a crook of the river. Glorious summer days can be spent there, picnicking, jogging, roller skating, cycling, canoeing down the river, or simply playing in the children's play and water park.

The Quarry is also home to events such as the Shrewsbury Food Festival, the Shropshire Oktoberfest and rocking live concerts! There's always something going on in the Quarry to enjoy. Even Darwin would be impressed if he saw how far Shrewsbury has evolved (get it?).

If all of that is still not enough for you, it's easy enough to head out into the glorious Shropshire countryside which surrounds you on all sides. There are wonderful places to explore around Shrewsbury with nearby hills, discovery centres, cycle tracks, nature spots, a ruined Augustinian Abbey, follies, sandstone gullies and caves, rockeries, stumperies, golf courses, and 18th Century mansions and heritage sites and more! Plus, there is easy access to Wales, Chester, Liverpool and more.

I know it's cliché, but Shrewsbury really (really!) does have it all.
