My owners are sat outside at the moment, who can blame them? The birds are singing in the trees, the stream at the bottom of the garden is bubbling away and life is good. If I were them I'd probably have a bottle of wine out there with me. I'm lucky that I'm built in such a beautiful hamlet with hills all around and I know when the weather isn't so good my owners still love to look out over the garden, woods and hills from the big french doors in my first floor living room.
I love it when my current owners have friends over for dinner, the chatter over dinner is lovely and of course friends love a glass or two before dinner sat in the conservatory looking out over my gardens to the woods and hills beyond. I know my owners love to sit with a coffee and the newly delivered newspaper and watch the birds on the feeder in the garden.
After dinner why not retire to the lounge, on a nice evening you could have the doors onto the balcony open, in winter the logs burning on the open fire will keep you nice and cosy. I have a lovely guest bedroom if your friends wish to stay the night, they'll wish it was longer, with windows to both sides overlooking the garden and open countryside.
I'm about a mile from Darley Village and about half a mile from The Wellington Pub which does lovely food or you could do a bit of shopping at Darley Mill and have lunch in their busy restaurant. If you have children going to school then there is a choice of 4 primary schools within 3 miles and one of those has an outstanding Ofsted rating. For Secondary Schools in Harrogate or Nidderdale High School the school bus can be picked up near Darley Mill.
I'm about 20 minutes from Harrogate and all it's amenities including railway station with regular service to Leeds and York and a direct daily train to London. You can also pick up a Leeds Train directly into Manchester Airport. I'm also well placed to travel to Skipton, Otley and Bradford.
