Denholme & Thornton Estate Agents
Hello, we’re Lee and Stacey, your local EweMove estate agents in Denholme and Thornton.
We’re not just business partners; we’re a husband-and-wife team on a mission to bring a bit of 'Wow!' to the local property market. For us, estate agency isn't just about bricks and mortar—it’s about people and the magic of "coming home." With our two children, aged 13 and 3, keeping us busy, we understand the beautiful chaos of family life and exactly what makes a house a home.
Lee’s spent over 25 years immersed in the property world, from development and construction to property maintenance. He knows houses inside out, which means he’s got a bit of a superpower when it comes to preparing and presenting your home to look its absolute best. Stacey spent 20 years in the hospitality industry as a hotel manager, where delivering world-class service wasn't just a job—it was a way of life. Together, we’ve combined that property expertise with a "people-first" philosophy.
We’re big believers in "doing right by folk." Moving home is one of life’s biggest milestones, and it shouldn't be stressful. That’s why we’ve ditched the stuffy suits and the 9-to-5 mindset. We’re available 24/7 for our clients because we know that the best conversations often happen outside of office hours. From the very first chat to the moment you turn the key in your new front door, we’re right there by your side with honesty, dedication, and a genuine smile.
About Denholme & Thornton
If you’re an outdoorsy soul, you’ll know exactly why we love it here. We spend as much time as possible exploring the green hills and open moorland. One of our absolute favourite family traditions is walking across the viaduct—the views are simply stunning and remind us every time why this landscape is so special. Whether it’s exploring the local reservoirs or hitting the trails, there’s always a new adventure waiting just around the corner.
Thornton is, of course, steeped in literary history as the birthplace of the Brontë sisters, and the traditional stone buildings give the village a timeless character. But it’s the people who make it. Having watched our son play for the local football team, we’ve experienced firsthand the welcoming, friendly atmosphere that defines these villages. We’re also huge fans of the independent spirit here, from the quirky local cafés and traditional pubs to the independent retailers that keep our high streets thriving. It’s a place where neighbours become friends, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
