Folkestone & Hawkinge Estate Agents
Hello! I’m Damien and I live in Hawkinge. First and foremost, I’m a husband to Suzy and a Dad to a wonderful son Korben, but secondly, I’m the owner of EweMove Folkestone & Hawkinge. Yes, that does make me an Estate Agent (boo, hiss I hear you say) but stick with me and you might see that I’m probably the most ‘un-estate agenty estate agent’ you’ll meet.
I have been in the property industry as an Estate Agent for over ten years now. In the past, I worked for large corporates and other firms but grew frustrated by the lack of personal time I could devote to clients as I was governed by a corporate structure that was focused on targets, not people.
So in April 2019, I decided that it was the right time to go out on my own as a EweMove franchisee. With EweMove, I can be there for my clients every step of the way which is what I feel Estate Agents should be able (and willing) to do.
I’m now able to offer a very personal service, work closely with a selective group of clients and not try to be everything to everyone. To be side by side with clients on their journey from valuation to moving day and beyond, totally committed to their needs whilst having the flexibility to ensure a good work-life balance and to take my dog on the occasional long walk!
I love my job; I love meeting people and helping them to make life-changing decisions about moving home. Being part of that journey is a huge privilege and being able to guide at the decision points with honest and good advice and help solve problems that inevitably do arise along the way is my passion.
Ultimately, as well as being your local Folkestone and Hawkinge Estate Agent, I want to be someone that you can trust to give good, honest and genuine advice.

About Folkestone & Hawkinge
Having lived and worked in Folkestone for over ten years, we made the move up the hill and have been Hawkinge residents for almost three years now. Hawkinge and Folkestone truly is a wonderful place to live, and even though I might be a Norfolk lad originally, this corner of the south coast is our forever home. We love it and can’t stop telling people how lucky we are.
Hawkinge has a fantastic community and is a very friendly and social place to live. I’m proud to support The Churchill Primary School and The Hawkinge Cricket & Social Club and love to get involved in their many fundraising events.
We often spend time walking our dog Dotty in Folkestone at Sunny Sands and along The Warren. The Harbour Arm is also a firm favourite as it is with many others. Sugarloaf Hill is part of the Folkestone Downs and offers some incredible views across the town and out to sea. On clear day you'll even see France!
Folkestone has so much offer its residents. With a great mix of coast, countryside, bars, pubs and restaurants - not to mention the high speed rail link London. If you're a foodie like me I'd recommend Little Rock, (Rock Salt little sister) a beach side restaurant serving fresh seafood. But, the best place to eat is Annapurna Nepalese restaurant. This inconspicuous little gem will astound you with how good it is!
