I was born in Macclesfield, grew up in Poynton and relocated to Bollington over 20 years ago where along with my wife Elizabeth we have brought up our three beautiful children. As I've lived in the local area most of my life you might not be surprised to hear I am very passionate about this little area of Cheshire. We have great transport links, beautiful countryside, fantastic pubs and restaurants- and for those that need it some of the best public and private schools in the country. What's not to like! Over the last few years there has been a steady migration of people into the local area. Following the pandemic this has increased as people have realised they want to live away from big cities to work from home. We are 1hr 40 by train to London and 20 minutes to Manchester and on the edge of the Peak District, it really is the best of may worlds!!
