Rugby Estate Agents

Hello, I’m Al, and I’m the owner and director of EweMove Rugby. Let me tell you a bit about myself.

I’ve lived in Rugby for over 20 years and have strong connections with the town – from Hillmorton to Bilton, Dunchurch to Houlton. I know the area well: its many shops, restaurants, and pubs, as well as its great rural surroundings. And, having raised our two boys here, my wife and I have appreciated the town's friendliness, location, safety, and the fantastic schools it has to offer. Our retired greyhound, Ben, also highly recommends the dog walks!

Before becoming an estate agent, I worked for many years as a Creative Director, which taught me the importance of detail, presentation, and the power and persuasiveness of compelling marketing – all of which I bring to my clients.

My love of property comes from more than just bricks and mortar, though – it’s about people. Every individual and every home is unique, which is why I take the time to understand what matters most to you: your needs, your wants, and your timeframes.

While moving home can be an exciting prospect, I fully understand that it can also feel incredibly daunting, stressful, and expensive. My goal is to make the experience as smooth, honest, transparent, and positive as possible. And because I look after you throughout the process, you get a bespoke and dedicated personal service from a local expert.

So, if you’re considering buying, selling, or letting, I’d love to meet you. Call me anytime (yes, 24/7!) and let me help you get started with your next house move.

About Rugby

Rugby is a friendly Warwickshire town with a big heart and a famous claim to fame – it is, of course, the birthplace of rugby football. Beyond its heritage, though, it’s a great place to call home. The town centre has the beautiful and historic buildings of Rugby School, the Rugby Art Gallery & Museum, and Rugby Theatre with its great local productions right at its heart. Caldecott Park is perfect for a sunny afternoon stroll, a picnic, or just to let the kids run off some steam, and Draycote Water is only a short drive away for cycling, sailing, or simply relaxing by the water.

And then there are the fantastic schools, of which there are just too many to list. From outstanding private, grammar, and state schools, we’re really lucky to have excellent provision from pre-schools to secondaries right on our doorstep.

We have a mix of traditional pubs, independent cafés, and restaurants offering everything from Japanese to Caribbean, Indian to Turkish cuisine. You can indulge in a coffee and cake at The Tuning Fork in Houlton, grab a cosy pint of ale at The Merchants Inn, or enjoy a warming glass of wine in front of the fire at The Dun Cow in Dunchurch. Or try something a bit different at local favourites like Satchmo’s Corner, or dinner and cocktails at Café Vin Cinq.

What makes Rugby special is its balance – it’s small enough to feel personal and welcoming but big enough to have everything you need. Plus, we’re incredibly spoiled with its easy links to London, Birmingham, and beyond. It’s a great place to live for families and professionals, but don’t just take my word for it…Rugby’s been voted one of the top 15 best places to live in the UK!
