Stamford Estate Agents
We're Sophie and Sarah, the Branch Directors of EweMove Stamford.
We've been friends since we were 11, when we both attended Spalding High School for Girls.
Together we are on a mission to raise the bar for people moving home in Stamford and Spalding. With the support of our unbelievable team we have been able to help hundreds of families move home in Stamford and Spalding, and over the last 8 years we have let and managed more than 250 rental properties for our satisfied Landlords! We would love you to be a part of that - we look forward to getting to know you too!
About Stamford
Oh Stamford, where do we start…. It is a quintessential english town with a unique blend of history and stunning Georgian architecture with a bustling high street and an abundance of delicious offerings!
The thriving high street is lined with coffee shops, cafes and independent restaurants providing top notch service and scrumptious menus! There’s a vast range of boutique clothing and interior retailers to tempt you and our main street market is on a Friday with a fortnightly Farmers’ Market to pick up fresh produce and delights from our local artisans.
Sophie was actually married at Burghley House, a stunning 16th century mansion built by William Cecil where the famous Burghley Horse Trials and Battle Proms are held. Fantastic regular events also take place throughout the year including food, music and automotive festivals. Over the years, this beautiful location has lent itself to the big screen where those eagle eyed amongst us will spot it in Pride and Prejudice, Batman and The Da Vinci Code!
Whether you’ll see more of the football, rugby and cricket club or the culture and comedy nights at the Stamford Corn Exchange or Arts Theatre, we’re certain you’ll never be at a loss for something to do.
Winning the supreme compliment from the Sunday Times newspaper as ‘Britain’s Top Place to Live’ in 2013 and The Times 'Best Place to Live in the Midlands' 2021 it is a regular place holder in the top ten. Proclaimed by Sir Walter Scott as “the finest stone town in England”, it was declared a conservation area in 1967 and has one of the highest densities of listed buildings in the UK.
They say you should love where you live, and those lucky enough to own a property in Stamford certainly do, with the town maintaining a strong community feel. Stamford's popularity is also due to its excellent transport connections with easy access to the A1 as well as Stamford Train Station. It is a 15 minute train journey to Peterborough meaning you can be in London in little over an hour and the town’s own railway line runs west to Birmingham (from 1 hour 50 minutes) or southeast to Cambridge (from 52 minutes). Trains towards Cambridge terminate at Stansted Airport in under two hours, making Stamford surprisingly well-connected for international travel.
About Our Team
We couldn't do this alone though, our amazing team are;
Danielle - Meet our pocket rocket Operations Manager. Overseeing all of the Lettings and Sales Team and she has a passion for marketing and knows how to drum up a buzz around your property using the latest technology as well as making sure we are at the forefront of the ever-changing world of rental regulations. We couldn't be without her and you won't want to be either.
Lisa - If you've read our reviews, you'll know Lisa is our celebrity Sales Concierge, she's in the five star reviews more than Kate Winslet! Lisa will look after you from day one to handover day. Lisa builds lasting relationships with our sellers and buyers, always willing to help in any possible way she can. She's a diamond who moves mountains for her clients!
Our lettings portfolio is split between our two Asset Managers.
Gemma looks after her landlords and their properties impeccably. The kindest soul with super high standards, she runs a tight ship when it comes to her work and home life, with three wonderful children to raise too. She is an inspiration and a critical member of our flock!
Kirsty is another incredibly organised individual (enough to rival Sophie!) she LOVES to make sure everything is in order when it comes to her properties. Outside of EweMove, whipping everyone into shape as a ((BOUNCE)) instructor, Kirsty is mum to three adorable children. No wonder she’s good at being so organised!
The role of Asset Manager is extremely diverse and often unpredictable, yet Emilie makes it look easy! Emilie was previously a veterinarian before joining our team, caring and incredibly practical with amazing attention to detail, she brings so much to the team as well as the Landlords and Tenants that she supports.
That's us! We can't wait to meet EWE now...
