Yeovil Estate Agents
Hi, we're Anita and Paul, the Branch Directors for EweMove Yeovil. Lovely to meet you... Let us introduce ourselves, we both came from retail management backgrounds. Anita spent 20 years travelling the world to make sure a well know high-street clothing retailer sourced and manufactured their garments ethically. Paul spent 20 years project managing major projects for a company that many people visit on bank holiday weekends.
We've always had a passion for property and when the opportunity came along for us to build our own property business, which had the added benefit of being able to put down roots in the area, it was something we could not pass up. We started in Jan' 2015 and have grown from initially working at home to building a managed property portfolio with our high street office in Yeovil and a team of people to support and help grow our business. Enough about us, tell us about you!
We love Yeovil, it's the regional hub of South Somerset and the perfect place if you're looking for a balance between rural and urban living. It's on the border of South Somerset and West Dorset and surrounded by glorious countryside. The Jurassic coast is approx 30 minutes away, just don't expect to spot any dinosaurs (even though you find those quite easily in the estate agency world).
Yeovil's got it all though, beautiful countryside and access to the A303 and the M5 which makes commuting easy. The mainline railway station gets you into London Waterloo in under 2.5 hrs. The airports at Bristol, Exeter, Southampton and Bournemouth are all within 90 mins.
Yeovil is home to some significant employers, Leonardo's, the NHS Trust hospital, Honeywell, Yeovilton Air Base and multiple top brand retailers (you can see why Yeovil is a popular place to live for great job opportunities). Yeovil is very well served with some excellent amenities. The NHS Trust hospital, Nuffield and Goldenstones leisure venues, Cineworld multi-screen cinema, Yeovil Golf Club and a host of major brand retailers and quality restaurants and bars. Talking of eating, we love dining out and Yeovil is fortunate enough to be surrounded by lots of small villages, many of them with amazing gastro pubs that are dog friendly. One of our favourites is The White Post at Rimpton, a regular in the Top 50 Gastropub awards.
Some of you may have seen Starsky, our fox red labrador in our shop, he has his own fan club. We love walking him out in the country and appreciating all that's on our doorstep. Ninesprings Country Park is a favourite as is Ham Hill Country Park and of course we have to pop into the Prince Of Wales which has a wonderful selection of beverages and nibbles from their deli board.
We also enjoy mountain biking out in the country where there are an abundance of off road trails. It's great fun and of course we often pull into a country pub to recharge our batteries. When we have a spare couple of hours Anita loves pottering in the garden, helped by Starsky. Paul will most likely be found at Yeovil Golf Club bemoaning the fact that his handicap is going the wrong way.
