Description

EweMove - FOR RENT - A two-bed coach house with off-road parking in two garages and a garden. Just outside the city centre.

We're in Kings Worthy, a very popular area in the north of Winchester but only a short walk to the city centre. You can enjoy the peace and quiet of this new development or easily venture more central to enjoy more shops, restaurants, events and there are plenty of local amenities nearby. There are very good schools in the area, including an OFSTED rated Excellent primary school and the local leisure facility isn't far away, either.

The property is accessed via a courtyard off the street, with plenty of room for cars to drive down and the one we're interested in, is set above four garages, with two of them belonging to this maisonette. The front door sits just to the side and offers access to the garages from the main hallway but we're going to the take the stairs up first.

At the top of the stairs we enter the living room, which is an L shape and sports solid oak flooring. This room runs the width of the property with windows to the front and back allowing plenty of light inside and a lot of space to make use of, including plenty of room for a table to create a dining area for your meals.

To make up the rest of the rectangle, we have the kitchen which can be left open or partitioned with bi-folding glass panelled doors. Tiled flooring and partially tiled walls combine with the front facing window to create a bright space to unleash your culinary skills. Plenty of wall and floor cupboards, in a gorgeous white, balance with a lot of worktop space. There's a built-in fridge/freezer and washer/dryer as well as an electric oven and gas hob sitting under the extractor unit.

At the end of the living room is the hallway leading to the rest of the rooms in the maisonette, continuing with the same oak flooring from the living room. First on the left is the second bedroom, with a front facing window and radiator underneath. You'll get a good-sized bed in here as well as furniture, such as wardrobes and a desk but planning in advance will help you get the most out of this space.

Directly opposite this room is an airing cupboard for further storage and this room also contains the water heater.

The next door on the right is the main bathroom. The rear facing window is obscured glass for privacy and features tiled flooring and partially tiled walls. There's a toilet, sink, wall mounted mirrors and a bathtub with overhead shower attachment and shower screen. This room also includes an extractor fan.

At the end of the hall, we arrive at the master bedroom. With a front facing window, including a radiator underneath, this room has plenty of space to fit a large bed, plenty of furniture and still enjoy the built-in storage. It also includes an ensuite bathroom, with a large shower cubicle, toilet, sink and mirror. The window in this room is obscured glass, too and is rear facing. Like the main bathroom, the floor and part of the walls are tiled.

Return to the stairs but instead of leaving through the front door, take the door to your right. This leads to the first of two garages. The gas and electric meters can be found here (one in each) and there's some great under stair storage to the back. The next door leads into the back garden.

Emerge into a part lawn, part patio garden that offers good room for sitting and enjoying the sun as well as space to practise your gardening skills if you wish. Alternatively, you can keep it simple and easy to care for and use it for when guests arrive and those all-important barbecues in the summer. There's a gate leading to more streets in the area, as well.

This unique home is in a fantastic location and isn't to be missed. Book a viewing now to see everything it has to offer before it's too late!

The M3 is just to the east, with junctions for the A31 and A34 offering plenty of options to travel for work or just explore what's around. Enjoy the grassland and rivers for some relaxing and beautiful country walks when the weather is nice before relaxing in the local or at home - or carry on in the vibrant heart of Winchester itself.
